What Is CGTC Blackboard?
CGTC Blackboard was formally established by the Georgia Technical College System National Board at its September 2012 General Assembly when the Board approved the merger of Georgia Central Technical College and Central Georgia Technical College in 1962 in Macon, Georgia.
The Faculty Administration then requested and received approval at its June 2013 general meeting from its regional accreditation company, the Southern Colleges and Colleges Fees Commission (SACSCOC), to proceed as an accreditation body with Tier I status, conferred at the Affiliate level.
Blackboard Learn gives instructors the opportunity to design online course websites that are highly optimized for online learning and integrated with CGTC’s registration and communication systems.
Blackboard online learning is GCTC internet platform and learning management system. Students taking online courses can easily find their orientation, course information and other resources here.
Students and faculty members may both benefit from using Blackboard. The platform organizes material for educators in a centralized area, making it convenient for students and faculty members to access.

Access your academic account once you have enrolled, and follow the instructions below:
To log in, go to the sign in page with link: https://adultedgo.blackboard.com/ and choose Adult Education/GED Courses
Complete username and password in empty boxes
Click on the course link displayed under My Courses
Use the navigation bar on the left side of the screen to start exploring course materials
Review the syllabus first, then click Course Materials to continue.
Reset Password
Go to https://adultedgo.blackboard.com/ and click Forgot Password.
Enter your information in the Username Options or Email Address Options. Then click Submit.
Sign in to your email account and open an email from Blackboard. If you do not receive the email or cannot access your email account, please contact your instructor.
Open the email from “Blackboard Administrator, Lost Password Notification”. Click on the blue link below

How To Login To CGTC Blackboard App
Instructors may use the Blackboard Instructor app to organize courses, engage with universities, and see material at its website. To begin, go to the Google Play or Apple Store and download the Blackboard Instructor App.
Follow the procedure outlined below to access Blackboard CGTC application sign in.
After reinstalling the app, tap the “Enter your school’s name” text field
When the list of your school campuses is displayed, click on it
Click on the next page, click here to log in
Finally, enter your CGTC student credentials and click Login
