How To Access ASU Canvas Login Portal

To log into the ASU Canvas page, follow the procedures outlined below.



To locate your online course(s) please go to this link: https://weblogin.asu.edu/cas/login

  1. Enter your ASURITE User ID and Password in the given blanks

  2. After that click on the SIGN IN button to access your Canvas dashboard

  3. Click on the “Courses” link in the upper right corner of your screen to view all your courses

  4. Click on the course link displayed under My Courses

  5. Use the menu bar on the left side of the screen to start exploring course content

  6. Review the syllabus first, then click Course Content to continue.

Reset Password


  1. Click on the text with the link “Forgot ID/password?“

  2. You will now be moved to another interface, enter Your ASU ID as required

  3. Select “Submit” and continue to follow the instructions of the system

Recover User ID


  1. Select “Forgot ID/password?” or “I don’t know my ASU ID“

  2. Complete the electronic declaration form including: First (Given) Name, Last (Family) Name and Date of Birth

  3. Click Submit and wait for a response


How To Log In To The Canvas ASU Login Mobile App

With the ASU Canvas app, students can access grades, course content and more directly from their smartphones. To get started, visit the Google PlayStore or Apple Store to download the Canvas app.


  1. Follow the procedure outlined below to access the ASU Canvas application login.

  2. After reinstalling the app, click the “Find My School” button

  3. On the next page, enter the name of your school, e.g. Arizona State University

  4. When the list of campuses is displayed, click Arizona State University.

  5. You will be redirected to the ASU Canvas page

  6. Enter your credentials and click Login

  7. After that, click on the login button to access your Canvas dashboard.
