How To Access The AISD Canvas Login Portal

If you’re a teacher/student/parent using a free (non-school-associated) Canvas account login to Canvas here, follow the steps outlined below.



  1. To find your online courses, go to https://www.instructure.com/

  2. Select Log In on the menu bar, please choose Canvas from the suggestions given

  3. You will be navigated to a new interface, now enter your Email Address and password.

  4. Afterwards click on the Login button to access your Canvas Dashboard

  5. Click on the “Courses” link in the upper right corner of your screen to view all your courses

  6. Click on the course link displayed under My Courses

  7. Use the menu bar on the left side of the screen to start exploring course content

  8. Review the syllabus first, then click Course Content to continue.

How To Get New Password For Canvas AISD

If you have forgotten or lost your password, please follow the steps outlined below and you need to:


  1. Visit to official link https://w2.aisd.net/canvas/

  2. Navigate and click “Forgot Password”

  3. Enter your login ID

  4. Thereafter, click “Request Password” to reset your password.

How To Log In To The AISD Canvas Mobile App

Students may access grades, course information, and more from their cellphones using the Canvas app. To begin, download Application from the Google Play or Apple Store.

Follow the procedure outlined below to access the AISD Canvas application login:


  1. After reinstalling the app, look and click the “Find My School” button

  2. On the next page, enter the name of your school eg AISD

  3. When the list of school districts is displayed, click your school.

  4. You will be redirected to the Allen Independent Canvas page

  5. Enter your credentials and click Login

  6. After that, click on the login button to access your Canvas dashboard.
